Until a couple of months ago, I had no desire for a cab. I was perfectly happy with my Deere 5205 4WD with loader. It did everything I needed. Then, about 3 weeks ago, I suddenly got the urge for a cab, as I was about to start bush hogging for the season, and wanted it for the A/C, radio, and to keep all that dust and pollen out of my eyes and nose. So, about 10 days ago, I bought a new Kioti DK55c with loader. I started bush hogging a couple of days ago, and it sure is nice!

However, today I was hogging the Indian Hill back on the farm. The briars and serica were about six feet high, and plenty thick. All of a sudden, there were hundreds of yellow jackets swarming that cab. I had never run into any of them in years past on that part of the farm, but today, they were there in force! About ten minutes later, I hit another nest. Not as many, probably less than one hundred. However, I am somewhat allergic to bee stings, and was about twenty minutes from home through the woods. Those little bastages would have done me in, if it wasn't for that lovely cab! I was able to keep on hogging. Without that cab, I probably would not have made it back home. God is good to me!

Those cabs are hard to beat. God was good to you! Besides the protection it sure is nice to exit the tractor squeaky clean after a few hours of mowing and not be covered in dirt, leaves and other stuff.

Jeff, I think you ordered the mystery option - What was it if you don't mind me asking. Is that a self leveling loader by any chance?

Talk about good timing for that cab. It is a nice looking rig. I can see that a cab in your situation, with all that bush hogging (and yellow jackets) would be nice to have. :)

Yes Sir, it is self-leveling, and I really like that feature.

My last two tractors have cabs and I will never buy one without if it is an option. I have open station tractors that I don't even use anymore.

I was mowing a few days ago, looked out the cab window, and saw this . Cab is good.

I bought the B3030 with cab mostly to keep me warm in the winter but, when flying, biting, stinging critters are hitting the glass hard enough that you can hear them it sure makes me happy to be inside where they can't get me.
Nice looking rig. The self levelling sounds like a handy option too, it would make it a lot harder to roll something out of the bucket onto that nice shiny hood. Or your lap.
