No one is suggesting the government censor his speech. The same 1st amendment that allows him to speak his mind permits others to voice the opposition to his opinions.

I was surprised they would hire this guy after what he did in the UK. But then again, the networks hire politicians the hire women for certain reasons, and turn them into talking heads...

Hmmm, I've never heard or read his opinions, but from what I gather here I have a great idea for a new reality show.
Sort of a celebrity apprentice / amazing race hybrid. Pit Piers Morgan against Ted Nugent in a world tour lecture/debate series where each much talk for at least 20 minutes and still make sense. Let them pick random subjects close to their hearts.
I'm basing this on Ted's ability to make sound thought provoking statements (eg; his thoughts on the Ontario bear hunt moratorium, circa 2004) and then obliterate those same though provoking statements with a long stream of nonsensical babble.
