Yeah the fuel tank did eventually rupture and dump the gas on the asphalt, and started running straight for my car. That is when the fireman redirected the flame the other direct to where there where no cars.
It was some kind of Dodge a stratus or neon or something of that nature. There isnt much left. The glass from the front windshield is melted to the hood. There is nothing in the interior of the car. the front tires are completely gone and the rear tires have a little left on them.
It was erie (sp.?) to say the least. My car being only 8 feet from the disaster was exposed to some serious heat. I could feel the fire from about two hundred feet when the wind was coming my way.
What really got me at first is I thought my wife meant the apartment building was on fire. Well enough of this I have 10 days before closing on my house. Then I can get out of here.
Now anyone have an idea how to rig a pulley so I can move my third floor stuff out using a TC55 and a pulley to exclude having to walk stairs ? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Anyone have any ideas on whether there will be a delayed paint deterioration on my car. IE the heat weakened the temperment of the paint without any abvious signs, but in a few months/year it might start flaking?
Thanks
