Ice and Tractors don\'t mix
I was sitting here remembering of an incident that took place this winter when we got about 4 feet of snow. I was coming down the road on my old L2900 and I was just crusing along wasn't going that fast. I must have hit a patch of ice and the tractor slid around on a hill and the nose of the tractor pushed this guys mailbox over. I was okay and the tractor was fine. (Tractors are like tanks) I grabbed another gear and put it in reverse and backed up and went home. It was kind of scary because it happened right on the top of this steep hill. From then on when it snowed I would slow my tractor down to almost a creep through that spot and down the hill. I did stop and put the mailbox back in the ground for the man. I told him what happened and apologized. He said it could have happened to anyone. I am just glad that the tractor didn't hit a patch of asphalt and flip. It would have killed me.
