Maybe I missed it but you never said what tractor you have.

Thing looks simple enough and easy to build. I'd be real surprised if the thing costs more than $1000. Gotta watch too much down pressure on a 3ph. Problem is two-fold. Makes it harder to pull.....and unloads rear tires giving less traction to pull the harder load

The ratchet rake might work but I don't know how long it would last. Ice with gravel in it can be hard on steel. Also being the full width of your bucket will spread the weight out so you may not have enough pressure to dig into the ice. I know when I use the ripping teeth on my grading scraper if I use all 6 of them then they usually don't dig in. Often I'll just have 2 down. I think making something using scarifying bits would work well.
