Ice storm 2013 in Northern NY

Sorry about all the ice. Notice I didn't mention snow. I like snow, hate ice. Please be careful with the generators. Hope you don't have to use a generator and get to just enjoy the snow.

Really enjoyed the pictures. Really makes it look like Xmas.

Got to admit it looks pretty out there but I don't think the trees think so. Lost power on Sunday for a little over a day, much better than the people around us that still don't have power.

Don't mind the snow can get rid of it with the JD2520 Ice is another thing altogether. We feel fortunate to have power and be warm. Lots of people without power on these really cold days/nights.

I just spent three hours going about 300yards.No way I could plow it with my front snowplow.About three solid inches of ice.I had to put on my bucket/tooth bar.It did the trick but was really tough going.It warmed up today and all the ice came off the trees,so that is nice.Monday thru Wednesday is suppose to go way below zero........great.I also managed to get my netting for my pheasant pens out of the snow.It had collapsed during after the ice storm,not an easy job by any means.
