Ideas for an eMax 22 snow pusher?

Perfect! :thumbsup: Thanks for the help guys. I'll make up extended sides/skids and post some pictures when done. Also I'll see if I can make it in such a way the bucket rides in the dump position to act more like a pusher and not need dumping.

I wouldn't plow with the bucket in the dump position. It would be much more likely to damage a cylinder or loader arms if you catch on something. Keep the bucket edge lifted a little and keep it in float mode and you should be fine. Either way, relatively slow and easy minimizes any damages should you catch something hard or solid.

A heavier tractor for one. Snow pushers gather a lot of weight. I do not know if i would consider anything over 48" wide for your tractor. The buckets on these things are so shallow, I simply rigged up sides for my bucket on the 3016. Grand total of $50. It is 60" wide and has cut my plow time considerably.

It was your picture that I saw and was impressed with the wings attached to your FEL. I made my own rendition on my Kubota B3000 and have used it 3 times this year already and have moved a ton of snow. I am very impressed on how much snow you can move and the time it saves.

I know. It's incredible the difference it makes doesn't it. You did it right using your existing bucket. I've seen numerous tractors with pushers way too large for the tractor. I wanted something to move snow whether it was 8'"of thick, wet stuff or 27" of fluff. The tractor should move right along no matter what. By abiding by the width of the original bucket, one has better overall performance as far as pushers go.
