So if the OP is concerned about how well he can move 100 yards of dirt with his bucket, a tooth bar or ratchet rake might help. Moving that much dirt, bucket by bucket can be challenging and leave an uneven, lumpy, moundy surface. if the black dirt has a bit of clay in it, it can be even more difficult. I once had a skidsteer that came with both toothed and straight edge buckets. I almost always used the toothed bucket. It made smoothing and leveling dirt much easier.
