It looks like an 80's model Shibaura Ford with some mods to the fenders and the headlights. Cannot see the whole engine plate in the pic.

Looking more closely, now I see it is a copy of 80's model Shibaura Fords. So, not being well versed on Chinese tractor history, I don't know. It is an interesting specimen. Does it run well?

Ok im new here and didn't know where to post this. Hope yall can help me. I just bought an old ford tractor. I have attached a picture of the codes. I have scoured the net trying to figure out how to read these and here is what I think it is. I think the codes read: CE24C which would indicate that it is a 1970 May 24 Afternoon shift tractor - Fine. The second line reads B*807463 = England Built and the serial number - Fine.
I cant for the life of me figure out the third line as it looks like F105. The F might be an E which would indicate that it is a 5000 series tractor however it is only 3 cylinder not 4 and only has one fuel filter not 2. Given that the paint under the blue (on the engine only) is yellow and that isn't found on the rest of the tractor = I think the engine has been swapped. The engine code is C9 NN 6015 A = means that the engine block is a 1969. Also interesting the gearbox shows that it is C5 NN 7006 which means that it is from a 1965. As I am just now trying to get it running and need to order parts - I need to know what series tractor it really is so that I order the correct parts for it. Also there is no plate on the sheet metal - so that doesn't help.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Was the seller's name Jonathon Cash?

Nope. I did pay cash for it though. 200 bucks and came with a disker. Here is a pick. If all else fails - I can always part it out.

Looks like a 3000 with a swapped in industrial engine. I'm not an expert though, repost your pictures in the vintage ford section and there are some very knowledgeable guys that will help you out.

I haven't heard of that one but if it's running good you should be fine. Have you been able to get parts for it?

Well I finally got it running. Turns out I have a frankentractor. The engine is a 340b industrial (apparently according to NH support that ran the number). The transmission appears to be an 8 speed out of a British tractor, with British sheet metal. Rearend appears to be US built. I finally got it running - yay!
First I rewired it so that I could get the starter to work, changed the oil and replaced almost all the grease fittings and lubed it up. Changed the oil and got the engine to turn over freely with a wrench on the crank pulley. Sigh - it wouldn't start.
I had to have the fuel pump and 2 of the injectors rebuilt (one injector just needed to be adjusted). So $450 dollars later - she starts and ran - cheers. Drove it around the yard alittle and put her up. Now that I know it runs and runs strong - I will start the body work needed before I paint her back stock ford blue. Have to swap the radiator as she leaks like a colander. Have to replace the trans oil as it was milky as nestle quick and swap out a tube in the back tire as it wont hold air. After that I'm hoping it will be a good tractor and will last me many years. Cheers all.
