apparently that happened to the previous owner as well as I see the cable had been repaired (poorly) and few strands were binding making it not return to idle.
now time to get a part # and see how much NH wants for one of those.![]()
I never repaired mine, figured it would get torn off again and I never used it much anyways. My TC40S has been a pretty tough little tractor, but they aren't really designed for working in the woods. The hydraulic lines on the loader are over-exposed too. I've had to replace three or four of the short lines that go between the metal piping and the cylinders.
