Man, that IS impressive, check out their pdf for specs on this machine. Amazing piece of technology.

Somebody ought to be able to redneck a fairly decent transformer. Where can we find a cheap hydrostatic 4wd to start?

We used a Lull Forklift that had the crab crawl steering. That would make a good platform to start. You would think Lull would get into small machines for farm use.

Anyone care to guess the cost? I'm going to say $150,000 without any attachments.

That's not pretty neat,,,,,, that's awesome!!!!!

Puts Bobcat's telehandler and toolcats to shame.
Sure does! That thing is amazing! I'm sure it is darn expensive, but I just keep picturing how productive it could be. Throw a PTO powered mulcher on the 3 pt hitch, and a tree saw on the excavator attachment, and that is a low impact land clearing machine!

This is a very interesting design to say the least. One could generalize and say that multi-purpose tools like this are typically not as efficient as one designed for a specific purpose but that may not be the case here. Would like to see it in operation. Well, heck, I would like to try to operate it!

It's more common in Europe to see multi-purpose machinery. Pretty sure front 3pt on a tractor started there and has migrated here.

The coolest thing about the video was the guy running down the road and unfolding the arm and rotating the unit, all while running down the road!!!! :)

I was hoping he was going to hook on to one of the buckets in the trailer while going 40km/hr backwards. THAT would have been impressive!

Several manufacturers offer compact telehandlers. JLG, makes Lull, is one of them. In Europe telehandlers are pretty popular in agriculture. They just haven't gained anywhere near the traction here in the US.

The Diverto is neat, but man is it complex. Plus, it's a relatively big & heavy machine. I can't image the bill for one of those when equipped with a couple attachments. You aren't going to be going down to the local rental store for attachments either.

That thing is frickin awsome! I'll take one but skip the remote control please.

A conventional knuckle boom would be a good start for the redneck build of the boom part

Why though, would you start a thread with a title like this that makes searching it almost impossible? Something more useful like "New Diverto mulit machine" and put what you did in the text of the first post would be much more beneficial.

Looks very similar to mecalac machines. It would sure be fun to run for a bit.
