Those straps // to the cutting edge always work. The indicator rod only gives an accurate reading at ground level....and is fragile to boot.Now there's one thing that the M59 has that I wouldn't change...and wish all the other tractors with loaders came with the same feature. I'm talking about the factory loader bucket having two big flat straps welded to the top edge that are parallel to the cutting edge of the bucket and labeled as so...They are easy to see while operating the tractor. Finally (after 40 years) I can confidently tell exactly what the bucket tilt is doing. Duh...What took me so long? It's so simple.....
Guess that the indicator rod would of told me about half of the same thing, but I remember now that I took it off the first day to shut up that rattling sound. Besides, it doesn't show bucket tilt down anyway because the indicator rod disappears into the tube.
