I bought two #71 units from a local Planter salvage yard (still hard to come by in these parts) I had to build the toolbar and rebuild the guts in the planter boxes. All in all I probably have $600 in it. It plants great though. It is very simple to use. I plant Milo for pheasant food plots. This year I am going to build a 2 row cultivator to help control weeds. The birds need to have some bare gound under the canopy to escape predators. If you have a hog problem you may want to consider a solar powered electric fence until your food plots get established. Of course you can shoot the hogs as well.
