If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?

If we won some kind of funding we'd buy tools to care for trails that are open to the public and allow dogs. Tools like a tractor and various items needed to keep them open and in good shape. Crazy?

A mini excavator would also be invaluable. Not only would it be handy for building trails but you can get a flail head for it to keep the brush knocked back.

You also would need to stock up on straws to draw for who gets to run it.

We got lots of tools on the trails wish list, but no excavators.....

It should be there, you will wonder how you got along without it. Granted I'm looking at a different type of use but the snowmobile and ATV clubs here use them fairly often and make some pretty nice trails with them.
Most of those are across privately owned land, so when they build trails in a manner to prevent erosion it's a lot easier to get access.
