I have been watching that show every Sunday. It is great and gives me more appreciation for the real loggers. I ordered the DVD which won't even be released until August when they can finish filming and editing I guess. My Grandpa logged here in Washington the old growth without Chainsaws..He earned his pay!

considering some of the videos on U-Tube, I feel it was very well done. some of the camera angles were great and the 'slight' speedup, showed allot , I had been waiting for the Axe man to show how they put the trailer on top like they do. To me it looked like a new idea, but after watching some other vids I see its been that way for years.
And when they were going down th highway you almost could feel you were on top of it LOL I know some of the corners felt like, we are gonna tip over.
I believe History channel has anther such show coming up, something to do with Alaska also.Nice programming.

That's a neat video. The chains never look big enough for the load. That is one big fork truck to remove the whole load at once.
