Ignition Problem

Single cylinder elec start petrol Kubota. Anyone have details / links to info on Kubota ignition. It runs fine, then stops with no spark. From Ign coil there is HT lead & 1 wire. How do bypass test wire to check where prob is. This single wire seems to have ~1v when motor is running.

Fred, how old is the motor? Solid state or points type ignition? How long does it run before stopping? Does the single wire run to a grounding block for shutting off motor?
