IH 384 Battery info please...

Hi guys,
I am trying to help out a friend of mine. He has a 1979 IH 384 and he needs a battery for it. His son had taken the battery out of it some time ago and lost it! (Lucky for him he isn't my son...) When he calls the local auto parts stores they say "Well just bring the old one in and we'll match it up." But obviously he can't do that.
So, do any of you know what would be the correct size of battery would be for this tractor?
