I have a '67 B414 that has ran well in the past. I hadn't used it in 6 mos or so. I started it and warmed it up. Idled fine, but when I put a load on it (had discs on it), the engine lugged and died Any ideas where to look.

thanks,

diesel or gas? either one I'd suspect stale fuel plugged up the fuel filter(s).

Yep, sounds like a fuel supply problem, maybe if it sat with less than full fuel tanks water condensed and you could have a waterlogged filter now. Trying draining and flushing filters, check air filter for bird/rats nest and report back.

It might be as simple as the gas in it went bad.
