The City of Kenosha has a 1981 IHC 250A Hydrostatic Tractor. The problem is that the transmission input seal blows out and leaks oil. We have replaced the seal 3 times. The last time it came in for a leak we pulled the dipstick and noticed that there was pressure when the stick was removed. Most likely this is why the seal will not hold.
Checked vents. They are clear from obstructions.
Since this tractor is 30 years old and never had this problem before we are stumped.
Any ideas?
