There is an old saying in Illinois that if you don't like the weather just wait because it will change tomorrow. That was the almost the case today only it changed all day long. This morning temps were in the mid to upper 40's not bad for January 29th, sun even came out for a while. Light jacket weather. Then it clouded over and rained in buckets for a little while with a few claps of thunder and lightening. About an hour or so so later temps start dropping fast and rain turns to sleet, which turns to freezing rain, which turns to snow with high winds, and in some places near zero visability. Just to the south of me they were talking severe thunder storms with a tornado watch in effect followed by freezing rain and colder temps. Thursday we are to get 4 to 6 inches of snow and by Monday rain and temps in the 40's. Sounds like good cold and flu weather.
I love Illinois we get to enjoy all types of weather.
