I think I can rig up a real (aka. 8000# winch) on my loader. I may need some more counter weight if we are going for anything big.

As long as the winch is a warn 8274-50 we should be fine . Gotta have something with fast line speed to move the cooler /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif John

Actually, the winch might come in handy if I decide to go 4 wheeling with my 350 Ford. After all, the woods is the woods!!!!!!!

He is smart enough to realize that where he takes his Jeep, that even four wheel drive isn't going to get him out of trouble every time..... that is why he needs a winch!!
I know someone that had a Jeep and took it into the woods so far that even a winch and chain saw wouldn't have gotten him out..... it took a bulldozer to free his Jeep..... personally, I would have just abandoned it there.... less embarrising...
