Re: I\'m a Mahindra owner, and my dad needs your prayer
KENB,
First I am truly sorry to hear about your father, I wish him all the best and my thoughts will be with him.
I understand what you are going through right now, my father took a fall on Nov 17 last year. He broke his neck and is now what is known as an incomplete quadrapalegic. Essentially he is paralyzed from the chest down, no use of any of his limbs. I'm sure this is quite traumatic for your father and all of your family as injurys like this effect everyone around. I am glad to hear he is out of ICU that is a big step. If you have not already, you should talk to the guidence counselor at the hospital about the ramifications of an injury like this.
Don't let the pessimist get you down. My father was in ICU for 2 months on a ventilator. The doctors at that point were telling us he would never be off the vent and for sure would never regain any mobility. He told them to take the vent out around month 3 and he is now home with us. He can move his toes on his left foot and is regaining some slight abilities in other areas. He goes to physical therapy 3 times a week and works harder I think just to prove them all wrong.
Your lives have changed forever, but I know that if your father is anything like mine you will get through this. He is going to need you now more than he has ever needed you in his life. If there is anything I can help you with feel free to message me.
Sincerely,
