Buying Advice I'm Buying a Ferris IS2100z Mower and Down to Two Models and looking for opinions

Bought Ferris with 61 inch deck and full suspension with Kawasaki EFI engine 37 hp about four years ago. Had to replace belt once and had to replace throttle body and was very disappointed with that but blame that on two different shops I had it to find the issue when it would have still been in warranty and both missed the problem blaming bad gas.

The ride is so much better than anything else I have ever mowed on. Only issue I don't like about the mower itself is sitting fully in the seat it is almost like a recliner not the lean but the comfort level, I can not see the left side of the deck easy for trimming.

When I bought my Kubota L3301 last month I sat on a few diesel zero turns. I wish I would have gone diesel.

I have about 2 3/4 acres I mow with the zero turn and when I bought the property 2 yrs ago I bought a 48" zero turn and within 3 mows realized I should have bought a 60". So I traded that in (losing $1500) and got a 60". Cut my mowing time by 40%.

Those Ferris are top of the line.

I have a diesel zero turn and it’s sweet but it would be a waste for 2.5 acres. Running semi commercial with it it saves quite a bit of money over the gas guzzler gas ones and it has enough fuel to run 2 days without refueling which means I can ditch the 5 gallon cans. Gas cans are a high theft item around here and a full one is a $50 loss so not having them saves quite a bit of money. But only mowing 2.5 acres and not hauling it around to have gas cans stolen makes it a lot less of a winning proposition.

Thanks guys, I went with the loaded model and drove it today. Wow, it really rides nice!

That's the one I would have picked, EFI is nice. Carburetors are old school.
