Re: I\'m feeling homicidal
I had trojan and couple other bugs that I was fighting with. for the trojan I had to dissable the restore feature in XP then run my programs and reboot. I had to leave restore off to keep the trojan from coming back or edit the restore file and or the registry or fdisk the C: drive and re-install. (I re-installed) I have also for the, longest time, split my hardrives in to 10gig partitions. Saving all downloaded files to a spicific folder and scan before I use it. I also save all my word and excell and other such to a drive other than C: so fdisk does not wipe them out.
Fire fox does not filter trojans or virus's or highjackers. it is simply not attacked as often as most such idiots that write them hate EI and MS. It does have a built in popup blocker that works well.
also MS has a new product for spy ware you can find at there site. They were giving out for free. It is from a company they recently purchased. One that was apparently pretty good.
