I\'m ready for August weather any time now!

The temperature is near 90 and the humidity and the dew point are both above 70% . August is normally hot, but not so humid! It's times like this that I really miss living in Colorado. But, I couldn't afford any acreage there, so here I am.

By the way, I'm not trying to put down Indiana. I also couldn't grow a decent garden in Colorado. Every place has it's pros and cons. I just hate this humid weather!

Here in southeast TX it has been a little cooler than normal, too. We have had cloudiness and scattered showers almost every day for the past month. That does not include the days that it just out and out rained on everybody. The weather has been a little more humid than normal I suppose. However, I will take the lower 90s with humidity any day over the upper 90s with no rain like the past two summers. Besides, rain or no rain, upper 90s or lower 90s it is humid here on the Gulf coat all the time.

Better yet, I'm ready for October!

The 3 H's sure can have affect on ones mood,for almost 2 weeks the 3 H's took its vacation here in New England /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif can't wait until Miss Autuma arrives for her vacation.We need <font color=red>RAIN<font color=red><font color=black>!!

We're finally getting a break. After 3 weeks of 90+ degree weather, today it's raining and 71.

I know! I lived in Houston for 2 years. Great people, lots of good jobs, lots to do, but I just couldn't stand the weather. I moved from Houston to Denver. Quite a contrast! Flat to mountainous, hot to cold, humid to dry, friendly people to mobs of tourists, bad football team to good football team ...

I think the last H is haze.

When I lived on Long Island, it was always hot, humid and hazey throughout the summer!

Around her I prefer about 98 degrees to 89 or 90 and real humid. Seems like if you can find any kind of shade and a breeze, the 98 feels better.
