I have a Mahindra 3616 HST. It's a great little tractor that I use out at our recreational property that we refer to as "The Farm". It's about 10 years old now and has 300 hours on it, so it's something that sits more than it's used. I'm pretty much a do-it-yourself kind of guy and tinker with about anything that is primarily mechanical. If as issue gets into an electronic area, then I'm not too proficient.

Hi Rob welcome to TBN . My skills are similar to yours. I am not a mechanic but do some mechanicin as needed. THis site has been very helpful for me in troubleshooting and suggestions. I hope its as helpful for you. I always enjoy reading other peoples posts to learn about my tractor or popular topics.

Thank you for that. Yea, most folks call me cheap, but I refer to myself as thrifty. When you don't have a lot of resources in your younger years, you tend to get resourceful. It's really tough for me to pay someone to do something I can do myself. I know that's not necessarily good for the economy; after all, where would we be if folks didn't get out and spend money? But, I think the majority of people out there are just fine with paying someone to do things for them, so I think the economy is probably safe!
Once I figure out out to create a post on here, I'm going to see if someone can steer me in the right direction. I'm sure I have a faulty starter relay on my tractor, but I'll be darned if I can find where it is. Hopefully someone will have had the same dilemma at some point in the past and be able to provide a little insight.
