Depending on how long you need shelter and how big the tractor you could buy or rent a 20' storage container. I bought one delivered for $1500.00, But I wanted secure storage in addition to water and windproof shelter. They rent for about $75 per month. Just a thought.

Dick, for the difference in price, I'm seriously considering the cheaper one. Naturally the guy who sells the high priced one tells me the cheaper one isn't as strong without the gable in one end, the galvanizing on the frame is from Mexico and will rust in a couple of years, etc. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif You know how that goes. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I bought a large tarp and bungee cords for our tractor untill we got the shed for it. That worked out fine for us...

Not sure, as I've never allowed snow to accumulate. We used a similar hoop structure (different manufacturer) as a "temporary" woodshed when we lived in the cottage up the hill and after seven years it was still in one piece. But then we rented the cottage out to a very short woman (4'10") who couldn't reach the top to shake the snow loose so she grabbed a shovel and hurled herself against the sides! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif The shovel cut thru the tarp and winds made short work of the rest!

Hopefully the quality hasn't changed, 'cause it is heavy duty and like I said has lasted several years now -- 7? or maybe 8?

The car port deals are indeed very nice. $790 here. What is achored properly ? Did you hand pour small concrte peers or use some type of auger/anchor ?? I have seen some folks here buy galvanized sheeting and cut it the screw it down to the sides and back. Dave
