I thought the same thing when i saw the ad, but god bless america if the seller gets it. I think i paid 7-800 for my used blower.... 54".

OK, The deed is done. I just sent an email to the dealer and he has responded. He says he will put my name on it and stick it on his trailer for the trip North to my place.

Thanks to all for the tips and especially photos. I got the Meteor 60" rear model with manual chute crank (3ph) for $1495 +Tax. My neighbor has already contracted my services. The only thing left that I can think of is a trailer but maybe next year. Whoops! forgot, I still got to get my heavy equipment operators License. That's a must for running with a compact tractor, isn't it?

You guys are great at helping me spend my money. It's all gone now but if I ever get anymore, I shall return. This hurts so good.

If this works, there should be a picture of a snowthrower the dealer sent me which looks like mine.

Must be some difference for almost a $1,000.00

My neck and back hurt when you mention a rear snowblower. Sure they are cheaper but there is a better way plus you can see where your going. Alot of rear blowers for sale for this reason.

I believe they are one and the same, Hearth. For all I know Meteor only lists one model in the 60" width. The dealer said so long as I buy it with the tractor and being this is his last one until he orders for his Fall inventory. I saw that too and wondered how this could be. Meteor is a Canadian Company. The specs seem the same so far as I can see.
