The bushings that slide on the hitch pins (I think that's what you call them?) and are kept from sliding off by a key of various sorts work good. I have been using them for a while. Occasionaly I pop a key (what do you call them?) out and lose it. Or my aim is bad and I mangle one.
Plus, the bushing are really just a patch.
So I saw a pic of these pins that had no key and had a shoulder. I thought, yep, that's the ticket, and went looking. And looking. Every time feeling like I was speaking Japanse to my dealer or some place on the phone. "No, not a bushing!".
As it turns out, they really are bushings /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I thought they replaced the origin pins. ooops
I went to this other dealer and picked up two sets of the real authentic JD deal. We went from the new design bushings, to the older, wider design, and finally after some crashing around in the back I get what I would have thought to be a very common part. I guess not! But, he tried like heck and got me what I needed. Bravo. It's a drive, but worth it, you know?
For the record:
