Imatch compatible chipper

I know there are many chippers out there, but I don't want to have to re-engineer something to work on my imatch equipped 4720. I am going to call my dealer tomorrow, but I figured I would start here.

I have been poking around in the attachment area, but nobody seems to care about i-match.

I want a i-match compatible chipper fro my 4720. I will not use it that much I don't think, but i want it to be quality stuff.

Any recommendations?

I modified my Valby to work. Posted pics also. Not very many chippers are compatible I'm sure...

I'm curious as to why you would think this. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
IMO, not too many chippers are made (at least not like the numbers of other 3pt attachments like rotary cutters, blades, boxblades, etc) for 3pt attachment. So I would suspect the design of the chippers is consistent year in and year out, and not re-designed just to accomodate the recent quick tach tools like the iMatch. Doesn't surprise me in the least that chippers are not changed to the standards of the iMatch tools.
If you find one, that will be great for you. Maybe contact the manufacturers and ask them if they have any intention of changing their designs to fit the iMatch. If they see a need, maybe they will change.

I would think it because John Deere seems to have a lot of pull and market share int he industry...

Our local JD dealer has MacKissic 3 pt shredder/chippers in his showroom. Hopefully, they're iMatch compatible.

The smaller of the two is not I-Match, in fact it's Cat 0.

I don't know about the larger one.

Cool deal, another way to solve the problem. I am thinking your way might be easier than hacking up the top part. I can fabricate a new pair of lower mounts and be done with it.
