iMatch Quick Hitch

Thank you. No mention of that by my dealer. I'll have to check into what is entailed in the "System Kit" and the cost. Will let you know, if I find out 1st.

If any one knows a good scheme, I'd appreciate the knowledge.

The Frontier has a swinging bracket (upside down "U") with the center lift pin through the "open" end. 3PH center link connects to that pin normally. When using the iMatch the center hook is open, as you know. I am not seeing what keeps the mower's swinging lift pin from slipping out of the iMatch center hook. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

At least on mine the top link claw WILL not engage the 1060's upper link. it will lay in the claw with it on the ground but as soon as I try to lift it , the pin rolls up the back side of the claw and disengages. I also notice that the Imatch hits the driveshaft. the lower pivot links aren't all the way down yet either.
I was thinking about eliminating the factory mast from the mower and adding a shorter one that pivots on the lower link pins and using chains from that to the back of the mower. Then I still have to think of a way to limit the lower link pivots so the DS does not hit the Imatch. The only other option that I see is to buy the conversion kit from Deere!

scrappy, welcome to the forums. I guess I never got back on this thread after I DID BUY the conversion kit. I can't remeber what I paid. It was less than list as only after looking it up did the dealer realize he should have told me about the kit and the i-Match would not work with the mower, properly, without it. A bit of a pain to remove the old float arms, etc... but once installed the kit works fine. The only problem is that I do have to get off the tractor an yank the upper arm forward for the i-match upper hook to grab it. The lowers line up fine. Dropping the mower is the same, in reverse. Bottom hooks will release but I have to get off and lift the upper mower float arm and pull back to disengage from the i-Match. I've learned to live with it now I'm pretty quick at it.

I've got a quick hitch on my 49 HP that I purchased from Harbor Freight on sale for $69.95. I use it on an 8ft rotary mower,6 ft tiller and 7 ft blade. I haven't torn it up yet and it has an adjustable toplink hook. Nearly all implements that one desires to attach with a QH need to have toplink height altered.

I have several implements that just don't line up correctly. Works great on the ballast box, but the rear scraper, hitch yolk and the York rake will need some mods to work with it. Haven't checked the PTO chipper, or the auger yet.
