I looked at all the quick hitches on the market and thought Landpride was the best made, HOWEVER, I went in a different direction. I store all of my attachments in my garage, which has a concrete floor. I bought several different size dollies from Harbor Freight (cost me less than $75 bucks) and I store each attachment on a dolly (snowblower actually sits on 2 of them). I have a Woods snowblower, a Frontier box blade, a Landpride landscape rake and a post hole digger from Everything Attachments. The post hole digger is the only piece that does not conveniently role into place, it has to be lifted. All the other attachments simply role up to the back of the tractor until they are properly positioned to be attached. When I am done using them I lower them onto their respective dollies (the dollies have been modified to custom fit each attachment) and roll them back to their storage areas in my garage. It is a very easy method to execute and I never need anyone to help me get something hooked up.

I bought the I-match and had to modify a TSC carryall everything else fit. I don' t have any experience with the anything else, but I am very pleased with it and I paid about the same price as TSC's model

I've got both the I-match and the HF QH. I like the I-match better, mostly for it's looks. The HF model is bulky and a little rough around the edges, it did require some modifications to work with the implements already modded for the I-match. But once set up, performs as well as the I-match.

I've done some custom modding to both, putting storage boxes on the sides and receiver tubes.

As you can probably figure by now, the choice is dependent on your own uses. I have the HF QH and it's clearly lower quality than the others - but it does work. Like many others, I had to grind on the hook to open it up to standard dimensions and I had to modify the pins that hold the hook on so it would fit into my box blade. However, these modifications were minor compared to how I would have had to modify my log splitter to work with the fixed hook on the iMatch.

If you need an adjustable top hook, you really need it.

Nice job on the modifications, JB!!!

I reckon I'll go a bit further on my original post...

If I had the tools at home to mod my iMatch or the implements, I'd probably like it a lot more.
So far, it fits the RFM (a Frontier set up for iMatch) and a Deere ballast box. These are the two implements most frequently on the 3PH.
It wouldn't fit the RFM I had before the Frontier. It wouldn't fit my old rear blade and it won't fit my chipper.
Since I sold the older RFM (for reasons other then the iMatch fitting) and the rear blade (which I hadn't used in years)...kind of a moot point.
So, now I have the chipper to mod (which would require the upper attach point lowered AND a longer PTO drive shaft) and maybe my rotary cutter (didn't need it last year).
I must admit, for the implements it does fit...it's really handy!

I have the HF quick hitch, yep it is rough around the edges but so far it has worked great. I have used it regularly to disc, box blade, rake, run the rototiller etc.. and so far it has held up to that abuse. I bought the Y adapter for it and also modified the top mounting holes to use quick pins for easy adjustment and also be able to quickly change out of the J hook to the Y adapter. I also re drilled the J hook to work better with my implements. I had to do a little modification on one of my implements but over all I am pleased with the HF version based on it's price / performance. For the price it is a good addition and makes removing and hooking up implements so much easier and safer. I showed one of my friends how it worked and he bought one for his tractor. If I was a full time farmer / rancher I would probably buy a higher quality version. I bought the HF version to try out and if I break this one, I will just build a heavy duty replacement similar to the I match.

I really like the modifications that have been added to the quick hitches. Tool box, chain box, receiver tube - All Great ideas!

I've seen many of these, the one I've been the most impressed by is Woods.

These things are flawed by their nature, none will fit everything.

I have the TSC one, purchased a few years back when it was $129, and comes with the adapter link 1 set of Cat 1 to Cat 2 bushing and adjustable hook. Don't adjust the hook anymore or use the adapter link. Spent a few hours this year and fixed all the older attachments so the hook fits in same location. Added hydraulic top link, now only time I get off the change attachments is if it has pto shaft.

I too have this QH on my 1070. Painted it JD green and works like a charm!

My TSC came with an adjustable top hook. Simply move the hook up or down the row of holes to match the tool and secure with 2 bolts. Lost the hook one day because the nuts on the bolts came loose. Since then I use the Y adapter that came with it. Not every implement I have is completely quick attach compatible but everything works with the Y adapter. I just have to pin the top link after I hook the implement with the bottom hooks. Still way better than wrestling with the lower arms when it is 98ー and 98% humidity.

I agree with you to a point but everytime you get off your tractor to make the change in height and connect the top link is time that could have been spent making the modification once and for all.
