I've a kubota L4200 and we have several impliments for it. Almost nothing is made by the actual tractor company. I read on the John Deere board that "everything with John Deere on it is made by Deere" and thats just not right. I've got a JD 660 tiller that was made by Howard in Germany. We've worked it very hard and its not giving a bit of trouble the 7 years we've owned it. Bush Hog post hole digger is great. All the roatary cutter companies have gone to China for their gear boxes and I seriously doubt the quality is there as in the older models. China's dirty high sulfur steel just won't give the service that the euro steel gave in the older boxes. But hey. Thats just my opinion. Best thing to do is get a good deal from the dealer you trust and take off with it. We recently got a Rotomec (by Befco) tiller to suppliment the JD660 tiller (commercial nursery here) and so far its done excellent. I would give the nod to Befco for the highest quality products out there currently if I had to choose a line.
