Implement Dollies

One set for the high road and another for the low road. Seems there used to be a song about those two roads. You are prepared for them both.

I made a dolly for my slasher using scrap but had to buy castors.

I bought rubber tired ones even though the TBN brains trust told me no no - You'll get flat spots.

Well I couldn't find any steel wheel and so far they have been OK.

But we haven't had rain for 6 months or so and the slasher hasn't been moved. I bet next time it will be

real

hard

to

move.................

Last year I bought the exact same set-up except the two with the "Grooves" had rubber on them. They were sold as snowmobile dollies and the grooves are for the runners on the skiis! Seems to me they cost right around $50 for the set... they sure make snowmobile storage a whole lot easier I can imagine they do the same thing for tractor implements.

Yes Jim, the first set I bought were for my snowmobile. Then I realized how useful they could be to move other heavy stuff. I now have two sets and no longer have a snowmobile.
