I have a Century C42 badged Kukje and C-System 86 badged (Amerequip) back hoe.
I don't use it much, but put it on a couple of days ago for a project.

Something in my memory says that the implement lowering speed control is supposed to either be
fully open or fully shut, but I can't find anything about that in the Back-Hoe manual.
For most field tasks I try to set it so that the implement takes about 5 seconds from fully raised
to just touching, so right now it is set to about that for the weight of a 6 ft Harley rake.

This might just be brain fade, but if anyone can point me at any authentic docs on this I'd appreciate it.
Ooops, I mean docs as in the plural of documentation, NOT Doctors who diagnose brain fade.

Is the back hoe framed mounted? I have a 96 Amerequip hoe that is frame mounted and the 3 point has nothing to do with the operation of the hoe. It gets its hydraulics from a set of rear remotes.

Your rear remotes must get their flow from SOMEWHERE,
but to your question, it is mounted on a sub-frame.

My dealer's answer to my original question may be of interest.
1) The lowering rate valve has nothing to do with the hoe - so I guess it was brain fade.
2) If the rock shaft is left fully raised it can, by priority, restrict flow to the hoe.
Not that I asked, he just got into that from the mounting procedure, so his recommendation is to lower the 3 pt just a little bit once the hoe is on.
e.g. it shouldn't be HARD against the stop.
3) Draft control has nothing to do with it. Another one that I didn't ask about.

What if you move the valve from full ccw to mid position to full cw. Check out the response in each position and decide for yourself, if it affects it and if so which position do you prefer.

My 2c,

Swing speed has an adjustment on the hoe I believe.

Not so much a speed adjustment as what seems to be a proportional valve of some sort, i.e. I can
swing slower by pushing the lever out only part way to the side.
This helps a LOT when I have the boom and arm out a ways, it gets downright uncomfortable swinging
at full speed and then stopping suddenly to dump. MOI etc.
