My Kodiak 6' Landscape Rake needs something other than blocks of wood to hold it in position. What have you folks designed/fabricated ?? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Eric

Looks familiar. I had the same problem on my landpride rake. Let me get a picture of what i made.

A short piece of 1-1/4" pipe welded to the frame with a pin hole drilled in it. Then a 1" pipe with two holes drilled in it for the leg also with a flat plate for the foot. One hole for holding the implement up and the other for storage when the implement is in use.

Barnboy....
Thanks for pic. This is similar to what JerryG explained. I like that design/setup. I appreciate you sharing that with me.

Not being prepared to do any welding I went to Harbor freight and bought a cheap <$20 trailer jack and clamped it on the beam on my Land Pride Landscape rake. The trailer jack is one that rotates to horizontal so that it is out of the way when using the rake. I bought 2 so I have one to put on the rear blade also.

Indy,
those look so much better than what we used to use. Old 5 gal steel pesticide cans and the often handy blocks & pieces of railroad ties, or fence posts or what have you. You know, how do you get your plow to stand upright? Drop it down and pull it til it's stuck good!
That was oolldd school!
