All I hear are implements from Italy, Turkey, Europe, India, China, etc. We know Brazil is a farm country. So, there must be many implements outlet-ting from Brazil. But I can't see many. Aren't there anyone here from Brazil on TBN who could tell us a thing or two about the implements being manufactured there & exported to the world?

I looked at a couple of current-model Massey-Ferguson tractors that were made in Brazil, but no implements.....

Brazil did a fair amount of component manufacturing until the days of rampant inflation took many of those companies out. (Took out a fair number of US investors as well) There is a recent resurgence of manufacturing there now, though.

I though somethings similar when I have not seen implements from Brazil after searches on the net. Maybe, they are using all farm fields as the soccer fields LoL as the soccer is much more profitable than farm business. They are exporting many many soccer players to Europe where the soccer is popular and they earn millions of dollars a year there.

Anyways.. I think there aren't anyones here from Brazil?

By the way, Jim, I read in one of your posts that you use to chart your containers? Containers? Are you also in importing? or exporting? I won't be surprised about that because I guess many companies in overseas would like to work with you.

With the exchange rate to the Euro is it much easier for us to export to Europe and we do some import as well.

Well, as of Dec. 12 (today), the exchange rate is 1 Euro = approx. 1.23 USD and Euro is still going up. This is 22.3% and maybe more in the near future!!.. Well, Italians must be importing their products they have sold to the USA back to Italy now. I predict Italian farm MFGs will transfer their investments from farm machinery field to the other fields as farm machinery MFG is less profitable comparing to the MFGs in the other industries. In farm MFG field, another Brazil is on the horizon?
