The rear implements on my rear top-n-tilt operate very jerky when changing position when moving in down direction. My restriction orifice doesn't seem to help. How does the orifice work and on which hydraulic line. Are there any other recommendations to smooth out the operation?

Restriction orifice needs to be in the line that control flow out of cylinder when lowering or moving via gravity especially if you have PO check in the circuit.

A couple of things. You will find that the whole system works better to have a flow restrictor at each port.
So you should have 4x .030 restrictors for your top & tilt set.

Second thing, try feathering the controls.
