I am only giving you suggestions to try and make your overall maintenance easier. There are many people with these blades and I have not ever read about any complaints.

Good luck;)

...and your suggestions are gratefully received. My road is cut into a mountain that is for the most part, one fractured rock. It is upthrust sedimentary rock so as the surface is exposed, you have sharp pointed pieces, two to six inches thick that protrude from the surface. The soil that exists in the road cut just basically and barely fills the voids between the exposed rock. Soil does accumulate in the ditch line and was removed with the box. A motor grader with rippers can pulverize the surface and grade it flat, but nothing much shy of that would be capable.

Like I said, I'm envious of your dirt! My rock does though prevent excess erosion as some of the pitches exceed 14%. I put crusher run on it to make the ride smoother and to prevent having to purchase new vehicle tires every six months. I have to go light though and leave the bed rock slightly exposed or non AWD vehicles spin out, coming up. I'll use the angled grader blade to pull more dirt up out of the ditch line and spread it and the fine stone on the surface.

Thanks again.
