Importing Used Tractor to Canada from USA

imported compact tractor from Ohio. Found the tractor and came up with price. Since I did not have a truck/trailer and for personal ease, contacted a customs broker who arranged transport direct to my door ( almost ). Was seamless. They came up with the cost which included their fees, trucking and taxes and I paid them and didn't have to do anything more. They also arranged pick up dates with the American dealer.

Next contact I had was the trucker telling me he was across the border and when he would arrive.

Piloon thanks so much for the info, I'll probably play safe and go through a JD dealer, there's a bit of stuff for sale privately on Craigslist but it's difficult to see if it has any liens against it.

Fear of buying a stolen tractor or one with a lien against it are why I bought a trade in from a JD dealer. No one has tried to claim it yet.
