Thanks for the reply! The forkster looks like a pretty nice unit. I am going to check into it further for my ASL 300 mini track loader. This may solve some of my problems. Also, it seems that this machine would work on four wheel steer models, which would allow me to get a four wheel steer TLB that is smaller in size. Any one have a Forkster??

I have been searching around on the net for the same kind of machine that you were looking for. My requirements are almost identical to yours. I need to manouver a lot of stone pallets, which typically weigh up to around 3500lbs. I demoed the Bobcat 250, which was a dissapointment.
Did you make a purchase that satisfied your requirements... what was it?

I vote for the R420 also, I've used them for retaining wall projects, tree clearing and dirt moving. Around here many of the landscape contractors use them. The other option is a Cat tracked skid steer like the model 277.
