In the bleak mid-winter and Seed Catalogs!!

We've got 3 good local companies here in Maine: I got m Fedco & Pinetree catalogs before Christmas & my Johnny's Selected catalog today.
Usually I order in late February when I start thinking about spring. However, the last few year's they have all been sold out of my favorite cucumber, so I am ordering early this year.

As you say, seeing them online is nothing like poring over a catalog. It seems especially colorful after being outside loking at snow all day.:thumbup:

That's the one. They are a good company with a solid product, and seem to treat their employees well if that means anything to you. (If memory serves me correctly they are now employee owned.)
Rather pricey compared to some others but you get what you pay for. And you will never see them defending Monsanto.

I ordered a few little things from them today. Johnny came highly recommended by others as well.

Except for my potato seed, which I will pick up at a seed/feed an hour away, I now have all my seed stock for spring.
