Hi, many thanks for all the input. I definitely spend all my time in the fields and much of it is hilly so ags certainly seem the way to go. What I have on my current my tractor. It was just what the guy from Mahindra said. The quote for the extra $700 for ag tyres came direct from Mahindra Ag in Australia. Personally it seems ridiculous that there should be any cost difference.
Is there anything on the dealers lot that you can simply "swap" the R4's for the ags? It should cost you nothing to do so. The reality is that tire for tire, R4's are more expensive than ags by quite a bit. More plys. More rubber and thus more expensive to make.
