Buying Advice Industrial, Turf, or Bar

/ Industrial, Turf, or Bar #11
I think you will find that turfs will not provide enough traction when plowing and working loose soil. R4s are a good compromise, which why you see so many of the tractors on dealer's lots that were ordered with R4s. If you drive with some care the R4s will not tear up your lawn. Both of mine have to work in the mud and climb mountains so they wear R1s. They will tear a lawn all to pieces, especially the Ford because it is very heavy.

One thought is if you will be using it 90% for lawn and 10% for dirt you might consider turfs and a set of chains. That should give you enough traction to put in the garden.
