Hi All,

I am the new owner of an FF225. I bought it used off a guy that had it for 3 or 4 years and was looking for a bigger tractor. Does anybody have any information on this thing? I can't find anything on the Internet about it. I know it's a 25 HP, full-time 4WD tractor. I know what MOST of the knobs/levers do, but not all and would be totally interested in a manual (owners and/or service) for it. the previous owner gave me a manual, but it's a generic photocopy that's for "most US & Japanese 3-cylinder models." It's pretty generic and older than my tractor model.

The only issue I have right now is a small fuel leak around the fuel distribution unit.

I'd also be interested in knowing what types of FELs will fit on it.

Thanks,

Dodd Martin

Here are 2 pix of the tractor and one of the only placard I can find on it (unless there are some hidden behind body panels or otherwise inaccessible). It looks similar to the F22D and the F245D/F255D. That's about as close as I can get. The placard has 2 numbers and I assume one is the serial number. The 22C MIGHT be some type of model number, but it doesn't seem to match anything I could find online. The FF225 is listed on this site (Japanese Used Tractors and Farm Machinery -MISH JAPAN TRADING CO.-) but there's only a pic, no info.

Thanks for you help!

Not to be a downer, but the FF225 is a no frills tractor as far as the F series goes.

I believe its full time 4x4 , no power steering, no quick turn, and an aluminum housing on the back like the F18.

Im glad to see that yours has the UFO option !

I had one here for sale about 5 years ago.

It takes a koyker 125 loader with the F215 mount.

Hope that helps:D

What is the fuel distribution unit, please provide a picture....

Your land has a nice view !

Ernie,

Yep. Definitely no frills. It's what I needed though. Something to disc/till/mow/move dirt with. We just bought 5-acres in the bay area and about an acre is walnut orchard and the rest is the house or undeveloped. The price was right. Once the sun is up, I can try to get a close up of the fuel leak area.

The tractor apparently has a draft control lever, but from what I've read it only works with a special connection to the implement. Not like a traditional draft control. There is a small lever under the seat (there's a threaded post with a wing nut on it) that I can loosen and move back and forth. Anyone know what that does?

You may have hyd lines under the rt side floor board. if so I think that wing nut deal is a open/close for those lines.

Ernie (et al),

Here are two views of the fuel distribution unit. You can't see it here, but there is a small amount of fuel on the top of the unit. It appears to be leaking from around one of the compression fittings.

Runningbird - I do have hydraulic lines under the right floorboard. In fact, it used to have a FEL on it, but the last owner got rid of it because it was in the way for him driving around his orchard. He just pulled the lines and linked them together with a coupler. That will make it stupid easy for me to add an FEL in the future. I'll have to keep my eyes open for a nice used one (if I can find one).

Hope everybody had a good Christmas and will have a great New Year!

It looks like you need to tighten those 3 lines on top first, then the caps on the lines. They are a pain to tighten because they are to close together, so have patience...
Hose it all off and let it dry, or use an air line to blow it all off, then inspect for more leaks with a flashlight.
Your fuel dist unit is an (injection pump)

:D:D:D

I run the 3 point chipper off those two lines on the FX335, works great !:D
