I changed the fuel filter. Tried to run the tractor. It died. It took a long time to get it bleed of air. I cracked open the injectors, open them some more and some more. Finally got it to flowing fuel. Got it to run but it was ruff. It lacked power, so I went back to bleed the injectors. Cracking open #1, fuel comes out. Cracking open #2, fuel sprays every where. Cracking open #3, just gets an air bubble every now and then. (this is with engine running.)

What has gone wrong? Why is #3 not injecting fuel?
Tractor is a NH TC33D

You aren't real clear...

Was everything going fine and you changed the filter or was there a problem and you changed the filter?

Either way, try cracking #3 at the pump and see what happens.

Everything was fine. Changed the filter.
I thought about cracking at the pump but I did not see how it would make a difference. I can give it a try.

It took a long time to prime the air out. I am concerned that the lack of fuel in the pump may have damaged the pump. Does that happen?

I don't know that cracking a line at the pump will do a thing, but that'd be my next step.

Filters get changed all the time with extended cranking before restarting. I wouldn't worry.
