It's 114 today... No doubt about it, we're doing a pool. Not to get off topic but, in Arizona, we've got the pool thing pretty much nailed. With in-floor cleaning systems, salt-water filtration, and other innovations, pool ownership is easy and cheap (with the exception of the original installation).

Kid safety is a big concern, but the municipalities have strict barrier codes, and we're quite vigilant in that department.

Above ground is not an option, though the design of this pool will be tiered.

Just so ya know, I gave up on doing the pool dig myself. I agree that a sub-cut is more my market.

Sounds like ya know what to do---I didnt mean to offend about not putting a pool in, but I think the nature of the forum is to throw out all sorts of jack*ss ideas and see what sticks for you /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Absolutely no offense taken! This forum has been GOLD for me! I look forward to all input. I've made enough of my own jack*ss decisions to know when I need help from folks smarter than me!

I think you have made the right choice in hiring out the pool dig and going with a sub-cut. They are amazing machines for their size and like bob said, you can get them into tight spaces.
