Well, I must say that Im past the checking every 10 seconds stage and now I check about every hour after Im in the long grass. I would say that every 1 out of 2 times I go in the long grass I get a tick on me.
Btw, Im from Oak Creek -- practically nieghbors. I love it up north in Athelstane. Im right next to all the Marinette county forest lands up there.
I came home sunday from Athelstane and now I have two semi-large red spots on my legs. I wonder what kinda bugs gave me those marks. I swatted one off me and it was really small. Almost like a really small fly or something.
