Had to do it ! Had to have a horn, the louder the better. So I bought and Bad Boy horn off of Ebay. Installed another Relay for the horn directly off the battery cause I want it loud ! Mounted on the left front frame. Surprisingly there is no vibration except for startup. Pretty solid. I'll let the pics do the talkin'...

The last one is a movie of startup vibration.

Okay ... how loud is it?

The B3030 came with a horn, I don't use it very often but am pleased to have it if I really need to get someone's attention. It isn't real loud but does the job. I thought about adding a horn to my last tractor but traded it before I got it done.

Good for getting the attention of that gal in front of you putting on her make-up, making you sit through a green light ! ;)

I can figure out the reason for the relay... I can't figure the reason for the horn...
Is that BX so quiet, someone will not realize it is there ...?

what?! you not guilty of pimping or dressing up the toys you have? :D

Where it is would not last long for me. Something would knock it off

The reason for th relay is that a horn pulls a lot of juice, therefore a relay. All cars have a horn relay.

Now - For the honker !~

I have been wanting to install a horn to go get peoples attention when running the machine. Mostly when moving firewood and have 2 guys with hearing protection on working the ground and the tractor operator. I would much rather have it up on the steering wheel but either way looks good.

I think it would of looked better on the dash, just like the guages.

My socks are getting worn out working on this nice machine. Anyone got a spare pair of socks ?

Nice horn, a horn is really needed I use mine quite a bit but you should mount it under the hood just inside the grill. It will take a lot of abuse where you have it mounted in my opinion.

You are correct, but if I knock it off it's only 20 bucks. No big deal. I looked all over the inside of that engine compartment first to mount it in there. Absolutely no room without cooking it. So outside it went. I'm just going to take this Tractor thru the cruise line though , no bad stuff
