I not sure I understand what you are saying. In the picture I have my tilt cylinder set at mid stroke when the impliment is level. That way I can tilt either way. I only showed one side.
One side goes up and the other down. So adjusting the 3ph height will often be necessary no matter which side is lifted. The cylinder side does move more than the fixed side. Maybe that is what you are saying??

I should have been more clear. I was referring to when and if you wish raise the inside edge while the grader is on the ground and in motion. Pushing the right (passenger) side down will do little in that situation. You'll need to first lift the entire implement then lower the right side to raise the left. The cylinder on the left would allow raising the inside edge for on the fly crown adjustments. Or it's likely I'm completely missing something. I'm of course also assuming grading is generally done with the flow of traffic and not against it.

My suggestion is to get that hydraulic side link for yourself and find out for sure just what has to be done for adjustments on the fly. ;)

Any suggestions where to buy?:D Honestly I can't, with a clear conscious right now, buy anything else for this little toy of mine.

We use a hydraulic top link on our Siromer 204S for grading work, and it is excellent. Our grader has wheels mounted on the rear, which combined with the hydraulic top link enables it to operate like a mid-mounted grader - much quicker and more acurate than a standard tractor grader.

I had not thought about fitting a hydraulic ram in place of a lift arm, but having seen your photos will definately now give it a try  The ability to angle the blade would speed up our operation even more, especially on road building jobs...

Would this system work with a quick hitch? I am getting one from northern tool for fathers day $99.

THis website is really starting to open my eyes of all the handy items one can equip their tractor with. I just wish my checkbook was a little bigger.

No problem.

Hope Gordon doesn't view this as hijacking his thread but I'm curious how much down-force the hydraulic tilt can apply at the end of a cat 1 arm

As much as the tractor weighs as in it will lift the tractor off of the ground.

Great to know thanks, any possible issues with either bent arms or bent implement attach points from UBD errors?

Not wanting to disagree with MtnViewRanch, but most tactors do not apply any down force on the link arms - with the arms lowered try lifting one by hand, and there will normally be no resistance to stop both link arms from lifting.

The hydraulic linkage controling the link arms is designed to provide lift force only. This means that installing the tilt kit in place of the lift rod, will not actually enable a down ward force greater than the weight of the impliment...
